Research Interests

Professor Liu's group is focused on the creation, manipulation, visualization, and understanding of novel quantum states of matter such as unconventional superconductivity. Experimentally, they implement scanning tunneling microscopy, scanned Josephson tunneling microscopy, and single atom/molecule manipulation at cryogenic temperatures.
