Research Interests
The Bohn group's research interests lie in using the tools of molecular nanotechnology to define the state-of-the-art in chemical analysis of mass-limited-samples. Relying on a strong background in nanofabrication, high-sensitivity molecular spectroscopy, and electrochemistry, the group focuses on problems in the areas of low-dimensional analytical electronics and photonics, and sensors and imaging.
Professor Bohn has a joint appointment in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and is also a faculty member in Notre Dame's interdisciplinary Bioengineering PhD program. He is director of the Berthiaume Institute for Precision Health at Notre Dame.
