Research Interests
The Myung group at the University of Notre Dame is utilizing cost-effective electrochemical and electrospinning methods to create unique hybrid nanostructures for various applications, including biological and chemical sensor arrays, thermoelectrics, photoelectrochemistry, environmental remediation, and phase change memory materials.
Fighting for faster virus detection
An electronic nose developed by Professor Myung is helping sniff out bird flu biomarkers for faster detection and fewer sick birds.
